Jeepers Christmas Break-Up Weekend

4th and 5th December 2021

Camping at Boonah Showgrounds




This is a big weekend in the Jeepers social calendar and we hope you can all make it along for a day or the whole weekend. You can arrive anytime from Friday and extend your weekend until Monday.


Campground facilities – Showers, toilets, power and limited water, plenty of room for caravans, undercover area for activities, easy walking distance to coffee shops and hotels.

Pets are permitted but MUST be kept on a leash at all times (please no pets at happy hour).


Camping fees $20.00 per couple per night. It is recommended that our Treasurer Lloyd, collects cash payments so that one payment can be made for the group. No charge for day visitors. Payment can also be made by Eftpos at the Office if necessary.


Registration Use QR code for registration at the Showgrounds. Once you have set up camp, please call over to Lloyd’s camp to complete Club registration and pay camping. Special deals will be available for early purchase of raffle tickets.


Activities Set-up camp and relax. Over the weekend you might like to wander up town for a coffee or check out the shops. Those arriving Friday may like to take in a pub lunch.


What will be happening – (If you come for the weekend).



SATURDAY – activities will start on Saturday after lunch with the wrapping of prizes and hampers for the Multi-Draw Christmas Raffle held on Sunday.

Donations of individual prizes or grocery items for the hampers can be brought over to the undercover area around 1.30pm. If you can’t make it on the weekend, donations can be handed to our Event Coordinator Des Young, or any of the Committee Members at any time or at the Birthday Picnic. All donations are greatly appreciated. If donating foodstuffs, please ensure that they are still “in date” and


not expired.


Following the wrapping of prizes, we will hold a “Country Club Meeting” around 3pm.

Happy Hour will happen around 4.30pm. As done since the start of CO-VID, everyone to bring their own plate of nibbles and drinks.

Dinner will start at 7pm allowing everyone time to prepare their Christmas feast.




It has become a tradition for members to set up their tables and chairs adding a bit of Christmas sparkle to their tables, cook their own dinner, bring their own refreshments and sit down at the same time together. There are some tables in the undercover area, so we will be able to use these, otherwise you may have to bring your own table or share a table with others.


So don’t forget - pack Christmas decorations for your table and your campsite. This adds to the festive atmosphere of the weekend.


If you can only make it for -



SUNDAY – activities will commence at 10.30am sharp with the arrival of Santa and distribution of presents for children. If you are attending with primary-school aged children or younger, can you please advise Carolyn Farnell or Des Young.

· their names;

· how old they are.



The Club will give each child a small gift and we also ask parents/grandparents to bring a small gift to no more than $15 with the child’s name marked on it, for Santa to present to them. These gifts can be handed to us once you have set up in camp or when you arrive on Sunday. After Santa’s departure, drawing of the Multi-Draw Raffle will take place.



Lloyd will be selling the tickets in the Multi-Draw Raffle throughout the whole weekend.


This is a great time to be enjoyed by all and a weekend not to be missed.
