Queensland Jeepers Bi-ennial Auction Day

Auction commences at 9.30 a.m. sharp

It’s on again!!  The Jeepers Auction Day, so empty your cupboards, clean out the shed and bring it all to The Chief Auctioneer’s (Dave ‘EMU’ Parkinson) Residence, 39 Katrina Crescent, Waterford West on SUNDAY 14th September 2025 for the Club to auction off.  All donations gratefully received.  If you are bringing donations on the day, could you please be there by 9.00 am, to drop them off. Please NO JUNK that should be going to the tip, only re-cycled items. Home-made food items are always very popular with the bidders as well. 

PUT THIS DAY IN YOUR DIARY NOW SO DON’T MISS IT!!!! It will be the best fun you have had in a long time.

This is a great day where you can pick up a bargain, someone else’s trash could be your very own Treasure.  It is amazing what turns up!!!  Some items have seen more than one or two auction days already, they just keep coming back. If you wish, you can drop off your “Treasures” on Saturday 19th (or in the week before, by prior arrangement with Dave or Sue).  You are also most welcome to camp overnight on Saturday night down by “The Cattle Camp”.  The campground will be open Saturday afternoon for campers to set up. Toilet & shower facilities are available in Dave’s bottom shed. Gas BBQ will be available for dinner and breakfast and ‘EMU’ will have the campfire roaring on Saturday night so you might even want to do a campoven cookup for dinner. Some help on Saturday arvo to put up the shade shelter/tarps would be appreciated.

The Club will be putting on a free Sausage Sizzle for lunch on the Sunday and Lloyd & Maureen are looking after the catering, so it would be appreciated if you could put your name down on the website or send them an email (lamb48@bigond.net.au) if you will be attending, to assist with catering.

BYO  - Morning Tea, Drinks & Chairs.  Tarps will be put up but it could be handy to have an umbrella or hat/cap. There will also be an urn set up in the camp kitchen for your morning cuppa.

On arrival, please sign in, register for the auction and obtain your bidding stick for the day.  A tally of your purchases will be recorded throughout the day which you will pay for before you leave. An invoice can be emailed to you if you want to see what you purchased and what you paid.  Only bargain prices all day.

Please note – all purchases must be taken away by you on the day unless you can find some unsuspecting Jeeper’s vehicle, ute or camper unattended.  It has been heard on many an occasion….“I didn’t buy that!!!”… Nothing is to be left behind at Parky’s without prior approval!!!!!
