Meeting Time: 9:00am

Join us for a day of easy touring around S.E. Queensland's Scenic Rim.

Our trip will include a drive past -

• The Old Purga School.

• Protected Tea Tree Reserve.

• Scenic views to Mt Walker and Mt Flinders and Churchbank Weir.

Our morning tea stop will be at Elderflower Farm at Kents Lagoon.

After morning tea there’ll be a visit to Kooroomba Estate Vineyard for some wine tasting for anyone interested.

Moogerah Dam - Lunch Stop BYO or Cafeteria.

Our trip ends at Moogerah Dam but if you would like to extend your day everyone is welcome to call into our home on the way home at 1 Ridgeview Court, Deebing Heights to enjoy coffee and nibbles Happy Hour and stay for a sausage sizzle at dinner time.

Things you should know -

We have to know beforehand if you’ll be attending.

Bookings are now closed for this event.

There is a small amount of dirt road, so leave washing your vehicle until after the trip.

Meeting point is at McDonald’s SOUTH Ripley, this is on the Southern side of Centenary Hwy (LHS heading away from Brisbane) next to Oporto’s. See map below.

Morning Tea is at Elderflower Farm, you’ll have to purchase your food here as you cannot bring your own. Prices are approx. $5.50 for coffee & $7.50 for cake or scones.

Lunch at Moogerah Dam is BYO food, drinks, chairs. The Cafeteria will be open for those who choose to buy something for lunch.
