Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort 5-9 March 2026

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST…… Are you interested???

I have made a TENTATIVE BOOKING at Susan River Homestead, Noble Road, Susan River (20klms from Maryborough & 10klms to Hervey Bay for 5-9 March 2026. I have reserved 12 powered sites so far but need to know if there is enough interest in this trip for it to go ahead. It is a 1660 acre property with over 50 gentle mannered horses.  It has limited powered sites with water and plenty of un-powered sites & a large amenity block.

They also have plenty of motel rooms available for those without a caravan/camper/tent.

Some of the amenities at the Homestead include a swimming pool, tennis court, in-ground trampoline, horse riding, BBQ area camp kitchen & a cinema.

This property offers so much for activities over the weekend -

·       Game of tennis

·       Go for a swim

·       Movie Night in the cinema

·       BBQ Night or Lunch

·       Visit to Maryborough – must see the flash Loo

with the gold toilet if you haven’t already or go

to the Mary Poppins Museum. There is also a

great War Museum. Lots to see in Maryborough

·       Take a drive out to the coast at Hervey Bay

·       Relax with a book and take in the view

. Maybe for the adventurous, a horse ride.

Camping Fees -

Power & water sites for 2 adults -  $45per night + additional adults $20 per night

Un-powered sites $17 per adult per night

Motel Units - 1-2 adults $140

The property is pet friendly.

I know things can happen which might change whether you can make it or not, but for the moment, if you are interested, I would love to hear from you soon.

John & I will most likely stay at Pomona Showgrounds on the Wednesday night to break the journey if you want to join us for an extra day.
